In our lives today, there is not a day that goes by that you do not hear of a friend, a friend of a friend, a family member, or loved one that are not affected in some way with Cancer. The statistics of someonebeing diagnosed with Cancer grows higher each day, especially since people are living to an older age then in a past.
Just today alone it was announced that a woman that drinks alcohol in small amounts is at a higher risk then a woman that does not drink alcohol, to get breast cancer. It is just one case study but, with all the studies that continue to go on maybe we will become lucky and a “CURE” for “CANCER” will one day come about.
What has been seen more and more is people pulling together to run fund raisers, being involved in walk for the cures, auctions for the cause and so many more events going on every day. Every day, I walk around with different cancer awareness ribbons to show that I care and hope that a cure is found for all types of cancer.
