Being at home

All my life I wanted to work for a big company and rise up in the ranks like most young boys and when I graduated college I was definitely on that track. As an accountant I thought the best thing for me to do would be to work at one of the big firms and really try hard to climb the corporate ladder but after about four years of that I had enough. I was miserable in that setting and I knew I couldn’t do it for the rest of my life so I decided to branch out and start my own firm. It’s been amazing so far, so much better than I even hoped, and it’s great working from home and for myself. Sometimes when I don’t have clients I watch direct tv and hang out with the dog so there are definitely advantages to being home all day! Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision but I know that in the long run I’m going to be way happier like this.
